Overview

Work Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Overtime:

  • Typically 5–10 hours per week
  • Up to two Saturdays per month
  • Primarily voluntary; occasionally required

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $26.00

Compensation is based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated competency.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings; utilize EPS/PPP tools and ensure all tooling is properly calibrated.
  • Assemble products according to prints, specifications, and approved procedures.
  • Safely operate equipment such as drill presses, lathes, mills, sanders, and die cutters.
  • Perform in‑process inspections or route assemblies to Quality as needed.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues, complete rework, and escalate complex concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct testing per documented procedures, record results accurately, and resolve failures through rework or troubleshooting.
  • Sign off on assembly and testing steps; maintain accurate time and job tracking.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace using Foreign Object Detection (FOD) best practices.
  • Follow safety protocols and consistently use required PPE.
Required Skills
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Proficiency with a variety of hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of component/assembly requirements.

  • Ability to collaborate with leadership on an individualized development plan.
  • Demonstrates initiative in identifying process, quality, or efficiency improvements.
  • Strong organizational habits and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
