Job Description:

* Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.

* Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.

* Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.

* Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

* Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

* Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer, IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I-STAT, Immediate use sterilization policy and procedures. [Required]

* Must be proficient in English [Required]

* Ability to communicate effectively [Required]

* EMR charting [Required]

* Computer literate [Preferred]

* Cerner [Preferred]

* Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department [Required]

Work Experience:

* A minimum of 1 year of OR RN experience [Required]

* 1+ year surgery experience [Preferred]
