Description
Daily, acute care environment within the Surgical Progressive Care Unit (SPCU). Provide top‑scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process and AACN’s Synergy Model. Work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritizing patient wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Precept new staff and embrace a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
Location & DepartmentUCHealth Anschutz Pavilion – Aurora, Department of Surgical Progressive Care (SPCU).
Work Schedule- Full Time, 72.00 hours per 2‑week pay period
- Day/Night rotation or Nights
13‑week assignments available with options for extension.
Compensation$50.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend.
Minimum Requirements- CO RN license or eNLC privileges
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- CPR for Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date
