UCHealth is seeking a Travel RN – Internal Medicine to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care across our Colorado hospitals and clinics. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive assessments, administer medications and IV therapies, monitor complex internal medicine patients, and coordinate interdisciplinary care. You’ll document in our EHR, support patient and family education, and uphold safety and quality standards. - Deliver evidence-based nursing care to internal medicine patients across UCHealth facilities as part of a travel assignment.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and manage IV therapies per provider orders.
- Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry and diagnostic data, and
** escalate changes promptly**. - Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case managers, and allied health staff to develop and adjust care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and discharge plans to support safe transitions.
- Follow all safety, quality, and infection prevention protocols and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Precept and support peers as needed, promoting UCHealth’s culture of innovation, diversity, and inclusion.
