RN Medical Office - Float Pool

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a medical/physician office setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Collaborates across disciplines for coordination, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support. Educates patients and families tailored to their needs and delegates tasks effectively, potentially precepting students and new staff.

Must hold an active RN license, with a minimum of 6 months nursing experience. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Requires BLS certification and relevant state licensure. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Develops and evaluates patient care plans, monitors patient conditions, documents communication, and ensures comprehensive care coordination. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, works collaboratively, and adapts care to patient needs.
