American Traveler is hiring a NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring CO or compact RN licensure and competency in newborn resuscitation and transition.

• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit setting in a hospital environment
• Active Labor 1:1, Early Labor 1:2, and Postpartum 1:3 couplet ratios for GA > 29 weeks
• 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• No mandatory call requirement
• Weekend shifts required, varying based on self-scheduling
• Floating between regional locations (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) as needed, with at least 2 hours notice for off-site floats

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Competency in newborn resuscitation and transition required
• COVID-19 vaccination card (two doses) or approved declination required for consideration

• Provide direct nursing care across active labor, early labor, and postpartum couplet care
• Compliance with facility call-off policy required, which may result in rescheduling to another weekend or holiday if a weekend or holiday shift is missed
• No radius rule in place; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Former permanent employees must have a 90-day break in service before returning as a traveler

Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
