Location: Parker, CO (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Contract Duration: 6-month W2 contract with possibility for extension
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Overview: The Telemetry organization at our Fortune 500 Telecom client is looking to bring on two QAs to support testing for their network applications. There are 7 different applications they are currently testing, and they are operating in a 50% automation 50% manual testing model.
Skillset:
- 0-1 years of testing experience with web applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
- Exposure to JavaScript and/or Typescript
- Ability to learn quickly, ask insightful questions, and communicate effectively.
- Passion for learning new technologies
- Nice to have:
- Any project or professional experience with manual or automated testing
- Experience with version control tools like Github
- Exposure to Dev Ops
- Experience with Playwright
Responsibilities
- Perform automated and manual testing of different web applications that are used for Access Engineering
- Utilize Playwright for end-to-end testing
- Write automated scripts using Typescript
- Validate UI components, data accuracy, filtering, alerting logic, and state changes in dashboards and engineering tools.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing for new features.
- Validate correct rendering of charts, telemetry data, network states, and error messages.
- Execute smoke tests and readiness checks for releases.
- Create automated tests for mission-critical workflows
- Use Playwright’s API testing features to validate backend responses driving the UI.
- Ensure automation is stable, maintainable, and scalable with page objects and fixtures.
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for PR checks, nightly runs, and release gates.
- Produce trace logs, screenshots, and videos for debugging failed tests.
Team overview: Around 70 QAs between onshore and offshore teams
