What You’ll Do

The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager to ensure that day‑to‑day business operations run smoothly. This position provides an opportunity for entry‑level managers to learn important management skills and practice judgment and discretion skills.

Role Priorities and Responsibilities
  • Confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
  • Supervise non‑management associates, assign work, focus on store‑level performance, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
  • Perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
  • Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale.
  • Apply strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Address issues promptly.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain awareness of brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
  • Ensure the restaurant remains clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
  • Accurately manage cash and process daily reports as directed.
  • Address customer needs, resolve issues, and maintain positive long‑term relationships.
  • Verify inventory data through spot checks and counts.
Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements
  • Passion for helping people learn and grow the business.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with sharp business acumen.
  • Two years of experience in quick‑service restaurant or similar management operations.
  • Flexible and open work schedule.
  • Basic food‑safety understanding and practice.
  • Ability and willingness to lift or push objects weighing over 30 pounds.
