Grocery Clerk

As a Grocery Clerk you may work across the Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen departments, stocking shelves, filling frozen food bins, maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the store, receiving product deliveries, ensuring delivery accuracy, moving products to the sales floor using various equipment, and rotating merchandise to keep the freshest product available. You must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Team members under 18 are restricted from the following tasks:

• Using a knife (other than safety cutters)
• Using a ladder
• Operating a garbage or cardboard compactor
• Operating any motor‑ or electronically‑powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks)
• Working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods of time

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable, with ability to work a flexible schedule that may change, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Show mutual respect for others and maintain a high level of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills, be able to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, multi‑task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Be able to vertically or horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5″ to 34″, for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $16.80–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
