Cullum & Brown is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Customer Center equipment sales and service activity for Northern Colorado. The position involves quoting, strategizing, prospecting, and developing relationships to achieve revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share, and maintain customer loyalty while meeting organizational goals.
Responsibilities- Generate revenue by selling equipment, service contracts, and other offerings to direct end users and partners within a defined customer base. Expand presence in the market by developing existing accounts and securing new, competitive ones.
- Provide and design compressed air solutions to meet industrial customer needs, including compressed air equipment, accessories, turnkey installations, service contracts, parts, rental equipment, and energy audits.
- Stay current with product knowledge, industry standards, and required training. Execute continuous improvement strategies and exceed customer satisfaction targets.
- Develop people capabilities by delivering selling skills and product/service training to dealer sales personnel and customer‑center staff.
- Manage cash by ensuring orders are error‑free with correct documentation, resolve customer disputes, and control selling‑related costs such as travel and entertainment.
- Adhere to safety rules for vehicle and customer‑site operations in the field.
- Earn customer loyalty through collaboration across functions and by enabling the services team to troubleshoot issues or offer unique solutions.
- Maintain the Customer Relationship Management database, recording interactions, assets, agreements, contacts, and opportunities. Deliver required reporting and provide market‑condition feedback. Track and report on the sales pipeline and daily activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four‑year college or university preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
- 4+ years of experience in an industrial sales business setting.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI within the last 5 years, hit & run, license suspension, reckless driving, or multiple minor infractions or preventable collisions within the last 3 years.
- Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
- Excellent relationship‑building and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and presentation communication.
- Establishes and builds solid relationships with customers, key institutions, and team members.
- Honest, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented.
- Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
- Mechanical and electrical expertise required.
- Ability to assess customer needs, analyze data, perform basic equipment performance calculations, and recommend technical solutions.
