Maintenance Technician – Watermark on Twenty Mile in Parker, Colorado

The Maintenance Technician supports daily maintenance operations for a multifamily community, ensuring property remains safe, functional, and well‑maintained. This role contributes to asset preservation, resident satisfaction, and overall community performance through timely, high‑quality maintenance service.

• Complete service requests in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent issues and ensuring quality resolution.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and support scheduled inspections of building systems and equipment.
• Assist with apartment make‑readies and unit turnovers to support occupancy and readiness goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and communicate updates to leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA and company policies.
• Assist with vendor coordination and notify leadership when additional support is needed.
• Participate in emergency response efforts and on‑call rotations as required.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members to support a positive experience.

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education and experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in property maintenance.
• Flexibility and availability for on‑call duty and emergency repairs.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for this role for the purpose of on‑call emergencies.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including frequent lifting of 50 to 80 pounds and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus.

The Maintenance Technician plays an essential role in maintaining the quality, safety, and reliability of Thompson Thrift communities. By delivering timely, high‑quality maintenance service and supporting preventative care efforts, this role directly impacts resident satisfaction and overall community performance.

$24 - $26 USD

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. The hourly or salary range is the range Thompson Thrift in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.
