Logistics Specialist III

Location

Fully onsite in Parker, Colorado

12 months; W2 position

Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

• Prepare logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals for deployment and stock.
• Route, document, and coordinate shipping logistics, maintaining records of equipment, components, repair parts, manuals, and tracking logistics materials for proper allocation of storage facilities.
• Ensure shipping activities adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.

• Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Understanding and experience with inventory and supply chain/logistics principles and techniques
• Progressive experience with inventory databases

• Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
• Haz Mat Training/Certification
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Experience with shipping databases (e.g., Fed Ex, DHL, UPS)
• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record
• Understanding of shelf life
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
• Higher-level degree may substitute for experience
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements: Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps; repeat hand, arm, finger motions many times; requires vision and hearing; frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Working Conditions: Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow); rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals; occasionally exposed to loud noises.
• Safety Sensitive Position: Responsible for safety and security of people or property; inspects, handles, or transports explosives, hazardous materials; inspects structures, equipment, or vehicles; performs aviation related duties; operates or supervises vehicles or heavy equipment.

This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
