Morton Thomas & Associates, Inc. (AMT, Inc.) is hiring Transportation Construction Inspectors to support projects throughout various WVDOH Districts and surrounding areas. As part of this team, you will work alongside supportive management, tackle challenging projects, and develop your career.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license, be available for nighttime shifts, overtime and/or weekends as needed, be capable of working independently and within a team, and be subject to a background check.
Responsibilities- Verify that all work performed is in accordance with plans and contractual specifications.
- Measure and verify quantities, dimensions, and specifications.
- Act as a liaison between WVDOH and the prime contractor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of highway construction related experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Comprehensive knowledge of roadway, structure and bridge construction/maintenance/repair/rehabilitation methods, materials, applicable standards and specifications.
- WVDOH TRET II or higher certification preferred.
