Work Environment: Site-based construction role requiring regular collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, consultants and clients. Specific travel requirements will depend on project location.
- Package: $100,000–$135,000 base salary, plus a 15%–25% annual performance bonus.

I am seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join a growing construction team in Central Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to build a long-term career with an established organisation. Candidates from a range of construction backgrounds will be considered, with a particular focus on emerging talent who is motivated to develop and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate construction projects from planning through completion.
- Work closely with project executives, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, quality and overall progress.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders and project documentation.
- Support procurement, subcontractor coordination and project delivery.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues and support effective project outcomes.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders.
- Assist with project reporting, forecasting and closeout activities.
- Promote strong standards of safety, quality, teamwork and accountability.
- Support the successful delivery of project milestones and objectives.
Requirements:
- 3–10 years of experience in construction or project management.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, mission-critical or another construction environment is welcome.
- No specific construction background is required.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Understanding of construction schedules, budgets, documentation and subcontractor coordination.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of project responsibilities.
- Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the construction industry.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is beneficial but not essential.
- Willingness to work on projects in Central Virginia.
