Chemours is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Manufacturing Technology team. The position is based at the Washington Works site in Parkersburg, WV and reports directly to the Polymers Manufacturing Technology Manager.
Responsibilities- Act as a Process Engineering resource for operations, maintenance and technology teams.
- Recommend and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with day‑to‑day troubleshooting and provide support for improvement programs in yield, uptime, reliability, cost and safety.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations.
- Conduct Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) and provide environmental support.
- Lead capital projects for various process improvements.
- Travel requirements are less than 10%.
- BS in Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a process background.
- Basic knowledge of typical equipment used in a chemical plant (e.g., pumps, compressors, piping, distillation columns, reactors, refrigeration equipment).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willing and able to wear required PPE such as steel toes, hard hat, Nomex, eye protection, respirators.
- Five (5) or more years of engineering experience.
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in a chemical manufacturing process.
- Experience leading or participating in Process Hazards Analyses.
- Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification.

Pay Range (in local currency): $97,843.00 - $
Chemours Level: 25
Annual bonus target: 8%
