Key Responsibilities of the Travel Speech Language Pathologist:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, techniques, and progress
Document evaluations, goals, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
Participate in case conferences and provide recommendations for ongoing care
Ensure adherence to ethical, clinical, and regulatory standards
Requirements of the Travel Speech Language Pathologist:
Active West Virginia SLP license  (or eligibility to obtain before start)
Minimum of 2 years of recent SLP experience  in an acute or rehab setting
Strong interpersonal, assessment, and communication skills
