Key Responsibilities of the Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse:
Provide direct and compassionate nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population
Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients with varying diagnoses
Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and patient families to optimize care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Promote patient safety and advocate for high-quality outcomes
Support patients through pre- and post-operative recovery as needed
Requirements of the Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse:
Active RN license  (West Virginia or compact state)
BLS certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience  in an acute care hospital
Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
