Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN:
Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Prepare patients and provide education throughout the care process
Monitor and document hemodynamic values and patient responses
Administer medications, including sedation, following facility protocols
Maintain and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment and ensure procedural readiness
Maintain a sterile and safe environment throughout all procedures
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members
Support patient recovery in the post-procedure phase
Requirements of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN:
Active West Virginia RN license (or ability to obtain before start)
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum  2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional cardiology
Ability to manage high-acuity, fast-paced procedural environments
