RN: ICU​/CCU​/Critical Care

Job Description:

Join our ICU team in Parkersburg, WV, for an engaging 13-week travel contract as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. This role offers a chance to work in a well-equipped ICU comprising 18 private rooms, many with negative pressure for COVID-19 patients, caring for a diverse patient population including sepsis, pneumonia, COVID, CHF, COPD, and post-surgical neurosurgeries. You’ll be responsible for titrating vasoactive drips, managing ventilators and critical medications, and performing procedures such as central line removals.

This unit features a collaborative environment with an onsite intensivist, RT coverage around the clock, and a supportive charge nurse team. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), with a typical schedule of every other weekend. Prior travel experience and at least one year of critical care experience with proficiency in managing complex vasoactive infusions are preferred.

To qualify, submit an unexpired copy of your driver’s license along with your application. This assignment provides a unique experience in a high-acuity setting that will challenge and elevate your skill set.
