Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled.

Join our Cardiac Telemetry unit, where you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing cardiac-related conditions. You will work closely with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment that requires both teamwork and strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions.
• Read and interpret cardiac strips.
• Administer medications and titrate intravenous drips, such as Heparin.
• Conduct admissions and discharges independently.
• Assist with EKGs and other patient assessments as necessary.
• Collaborate with PCTs and nursing team for patient care.
• Participate in daily discharges and admissions, managing a high patient turnover.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in cardiac telemetry or related specialties is preferred.
• Ability to read cardiac rhythms and manage patients with acute cardiac issues.
