This role involves providing high-quality care in an acute care setting, focusing on medical-surgical and cardiac observation. Key responsibilities of the RN – Telemetry include:

• Care for patients with diagnoses such as pre/post Cath, COPD, CHF, and cardiac arrhythmias
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Administer set-rate Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements of the RN – Telemetry include:

• Valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Experience with reading strips and set-rate Cardizem & Amiodarone
• Strong understanding of telemetry and cardiac care
