Job Title: Medical-Surgical | RN – Registered Nurse

Location: Parkersburg, WV

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2079.88 – 2183.87

Schedule: 12 Hour

Shifts:

;  w/ a 1/2 hour lunch break

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Travel

BLS certification; strong knowledge in Med Surg, , Isolation precautions, etc.; experience with Infectious Disease, Isolation, COVID, MRSA, C-Diff, etc.; familiarity with Heparin and other typical Med Surg IV medications, antibiotics, etc.; 1 day of EPIC orientation, 1 day on the floor with a preceptor, 3rd day on their own; may be called off for low census; floating as needed to Med Surg units.

• Provide care to patients on Infectious Disease and Isolation units, including COVID, MRSA, and C-Diff cases.
• Administer and monitor titratable IV medications such as Heparin and antibiotics.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and other team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Follow infection control protocols and isolation procedures.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately, including EMR updates.
