Security Officer - Access Control

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-volume logistics and distribution location.;
Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, authorizations and delivery documentation, issuing temporary credentials when required and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs.;
Screen and/or inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles, trailers and packages as directed by post orders, helping to deter unauthorized removal of property and/or entry to restricted areas.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing timely notifications and written reports per site requirements.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yard areas, parking areas and perimeter to identify irregular conditions, hazards and/or policy concerns and report findings to site leadership.
