Moment Dispensary is a brand-new cannabis dispensary opening in Parkville, Maryland. As a new store, we’re building our team and establishing our presence in the local community from the ground up. About the Role

The Shift Lead is an experienced Budtender who, in addition to performing their core Budtender duties, provides additional support and direction on the sales floor during assigned shifts.

The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, knowledgeable in cannabis, and comfortable working with a wide range of customers and coworkers. Shift Leads represent the Moment brand with professionalism and enthusiasm and help create a welcoming environment where customers feel comfortable exploring cannabis.

Shift Leads help ensure customers receive exceptional service, support Bud tenders with questions and training, coordinate employee breaks, assist with inventory and daily operations, and communicate important issues to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Represent the Moment brand in a positive, enthusiastic and authentic manner.
• Learn about customer preferences and recommend appropriate products.
• Educate customers about cannabis products, brands, accessories and available options.
• Assist with Budtender training and education as assigned by General Manager.
• Help drive sales by actively engaging with customers, promoting products and brands, and identifying opportunities to recommend complementary products and accessories.
• Build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
• Process customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Stay informed about current products, new arrivals, and the Company’s promotions and initiatives.
• Follow and enforce all Company policies, procedures, and applicable Maryland cannabis regulations.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, inventory counts, cleaning and general dispensary operations as assigned.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Relay product feedback and other market trends and key information to management.
• Deliver consistently positive customer experiences that reflects the Moment brand.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Support and guide Bud tenders during assigned shifts.
• Assist with training and onboarding new Bud tenders.
• Serve as a resource for questions regarding products, Company deals and promotions, customer service, and daily procedures. Shift Leads are responsible for knowing and relaying accurate information.
• Coordinate employee breaks and help maintain appropriate sales floor coverage.
• Lead by example in customer service, sales, professionalism, and compliance.
• Assist with receiving, counting and organizing products, and updating their status in the inventory system.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and other inventory tasks as directed.
• Help maintain organized product displays and inventory areas.
