Hours will depend on program needs

Provides instructional training related to the Drone program for the Public Safety Training Center.

• Responsible for providing instruction and preparing lesson plans for established curriculum
• Delivers training related to the Drone Training program
• Continually promotes students’ development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, professionalism, customer service, computation, problem solving, and decision‑making
• Maintains accurate, up‑to‑date records of student academic and attendance performance
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  Significant related experience may substitute for education
• Minimum of four years UAS operations experience and knowledge of FAA regulations
• Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Word Processing and PowerPoint Presentation software, as well as Internet and Email basic skills
• Ability to assess and grade the progress of students
• Possess sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population

• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field

• The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment;
• The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated;
• Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.
• Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite

Note:

This is a Part‑Time Non‑Bargaining Unit Position, with the following Set Rate of Pay: $25.00/hour.

Pooled Position – If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1‑40‑01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
