Registered Nurse DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis (DSD)

Location This position is based out of 7040 Hepburn Rd. Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, but will float to different locations around the greater Cleveland area and occasionally nearby regions

Schedule 3 Days a Week, 12+ Hour Shifts. No On Call. Training Provided.

Dialysis experience is preferred but not required We offer a very robust paid training program with hands on training Primary work schedule will be 3‑4 days a week with some required travel to other SNF clinics within your region (depending on business and patient needs). Alternating Saturdays will also be required.

DaVita Kidney Care brings industry‑leading clinical quality to patients on‑site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services.

Approximately 10% of all dialysis patients reside in a SNF and are transported to dialysis three times a week, placing a significant burden on patients and adding avoidable costs to the health care system. DSD Services teammates have access to all the capabilities and resources DaVita has to offer, and will work to grow the new service line.

Ideal teammates have experience in dialysis, are energized by a startup environment, improve patient lives, and have a track record of getting things done. They are comfortable working autonomously and can collaborate with cross‑functional resources.

What you can expect

Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track, troubleshoot, make sound decisions, and occasionally partner with SNF staff to coordinate care.

Provide patient education. RNs are educators; as a DSD Services RN you will conduct impactful education for patients and their families in the SNF setting.

Direct patient care:
Independently demonstrate best practice techniques and deliver optimal dialysis care. Supervise Dialysis Technicians who work to meet capacity and efficiency goals.

Complexity: DSD Dialysis care is complex but fulfilling. Meeting or exceeding clinical outcomes is a goal, and multitasking is expected.

Autonomy and critical thinking:
Provide comprehensive patient care independently, constantly assess, diagnose and implement complete care plans.
