Senior Strategic Buyer Manufacturing

Experteer Overview  As a Senior Strategic Buyer in Manufacturing, you will lead category strategy execution and supplier selection to meet cost, quality and delivery targets. You work within the Procurement Division to forecast needs, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure compliant procurement processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance, automation, and digitalization initiatives.

Adapt and implement catalogs and framework contracts at divisional/regional level
Conduct supplier negotiations, make awarding decisions aligned with strategy
Execute supplier selection and supplier base development
Resolve supplier issues (quality, delivery, service)
Research new technologies/materials for internal functions
Monitor supplier performance and communicate results
Promote automation and digitalization in procurement tools and processes
Ensure sourcing plan delivers cost, availability, innovation, and quality
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and statutory requirements
Own KPI accountability as defined by line management
Co-design procurement strategy increments
Lead a team of operational and service manufacturing buyers
Proactively improve supply chain processes and stakeholder engagement
Continuously optimize and improve procurement processes
Responsabilità   5+ years in procurement
Proven experience in international contract management
Background in quality management
Strong cost analysis and management experience
Design to cost experience for welded construction, CNC and carpentry
Excellent negotiation skills for large and complex deals
Contract and contract framework experience
Commercial/analytical and engagement skills
Proactivity and result orientation
Availability for short trips
Knowledge of technical drawing
Fluent English
Experience in complex organizations and supplier markets
Internal stakeholder/supplier relationship management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to think strategically and take ownership
Good communication skills
