Project Cost Controller - Life Science Construction projects

In this role you will lead cost reporting and forecasting within a portfolio of projects, ensuring consistency and accuracy of capex and opex data. You will integrate contractor estimates, manage changes and communicate them to the business, and oversee timely invoice processing. You’ll maintain monthly project cost reports and support ad hoc data requests, collaborating with other Cost Controllers to drive reliable cost projections.

Integrate cost estimates and forecasts from contractors and support estimation processes
Document and communicate changes with probability of occurrence to the business
Oversee invoice processing to ensure timely payments
Assess cost impacts of changes and update budgets/forecasts accordingly
Ensure project cost reports reflect approved changes and final costs
Develop, monitor and maintain monthly project cost reports
Handle ad hoc data requests and prepare analysis/presentations
Provide assistance to other Cost Controllers as needed
Responsibilities   Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or equivalent
RICS membership or equivalent
Cost engineering experience in Industrial & Manufacturing, Life Science or Oil & Gas sectors
Experience in cost controlling on large-scale projects (preferred)
Strong ability to balance and organize multiple projects or assignments
Strong communication skills
