Onboarding Specialist

Position : #51-9307. 100% remote within the Bank’s footprint. Full-time. Work hours per week: 37.5. Primary location:
Wheeling, WV, United States.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in banking, preferably in operations.
Job Summary

Support the Commercial Onboarding team in documenting new products and services, working directly with clients and business development officers to ensure accurate setup and servicing of commercial products. Manage aspects such as IOLTA reporting, account analysis, and support of account products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with training and guidance to team members.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, policies, procedures, and goals for scalability, automation, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with peers and leaders to recommend process improvements.
  • Foster strong relationships with leaders and peers to ensure effective communication.
  • Document process flows for assigned systems and pursue improvement areas.
  • Maintain repository of procedures, processes, job aids, and critical information.
  • Drive effective use of technology within functional areas.
  • Perform work within customer service level expectations and vendor processing timelines.
  • Define daily tasks accurately.
  • Recommend changes to processing that enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with business proposals and presentations for customer sales meetings.
  • Assist officers and customers with execution of product and service agreements.
  • Set up customers, accounts, and service offerings within the IBS systems, including rate plans and agreed terms.
  • Serve as liaison across functional areas to ensure accurate setup and execution of products and services.
  • Manage and report IOLTA accounts, execute interest rate changes, and support ICD and CDAR products.
  • Complete commercial deposit account openings and documentation.
Other Requirements
  • Acquire and maintain proficiency in bank policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Complete all assigned compliance training on time.
  • Strong knowledge of account documentation and retention requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of business products and service offerings.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic, and attitude.
  • Clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to understand and utilize banking industry technology.
