- Delivering engaging English Language Arts instruction aligned with grade-level standards
- Creating and implementing lesson plans
- Maintaining accurate grades and gradebook records
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Participating in staff meetings and collaborating with team members
- Managing the classroom environment and maintaining positive student behavior
- Valid teaching license or substitute teaching certificate
- Current BCI & FBI background checks, has or willing to obtain VIRTUS Training Certificate
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
