Ancora Memory Support at Mount Alverna Village is hiring a Resident Care Assistant (RCA) who will be assisting the needs of our residents through a person-centered approach. , a part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community in Parma, Ohio dedicated to specialized, person-centered dementia care. This Assisted Living community is designed to impact the overall well-being and quality of life for residents, providing comfort, functionality and safety within a reduced-stress environment and offering sensory stimulation. Ancora Memory Support is part of Mount Alverna Village, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) offering options including independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing/long-term care.
The onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapies and state-of-the-art programs to enhance quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.
We are currently looking for Resident Care Assistants (RCA's) to join our growing team!
Position SummaryIn this role, you will be responsible for assisting the residents with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and social and spiritual pursuits to the best of their abilities while promoting their dignity, independence, self-determination, privacy, choice, and rights.
Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities- Assist the residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and medication reminders.
- Identify residents’ physical and cognitive changes, making appropriate follow-up decisions, documentation, and communication to appropriate associates.
- Assist the residents with leisure time programming, including escorting them to and from activities.
- Assist with dining services and general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.

High School Diploma/GED
Licenses/Certifications

Experience
: 1-2+ years of caregiving experience preferred
