TLC Mobility Transport Services is currently searching for a NEMT Driver to operate company wheelchair-accessible vehicles while also assisting clients before, during, and after transportation. The position combines professional driving, mobility assistance, client service, safety awareness, communication, documentation, and vehicle/equipment care.
At TLC Mobility Transport Services, we believe transportation is far more than taking someone from one location to another. We provide independence, dignity, safety, and peace of mind for every client and family we serve. We provide hands‑on, door‑through‑door non-emergency medical transportation for elderly adults, individuals with disabilities, wheelchair users, and people with limited mobility.
Schedule:- TLC’s schedule is client-driven and can change based on medical appointment times, hospital discharges, dialysis/treatment schedules, client needs, traffic, weather, facility delays, cancellations, and added trips.
- Most weekday shifts generally begin between 7:00–9:00 a.m. and end between 4:00–6:00 p.m. Earlier starts, later finishes, and some weekend assignments may occasionally be required.
- Expected weekly hours are generally 25–40 hours, depending on transportation volume, availability, and business needs.

- Sit and drive for extended periods.
- Walk and stand frequently in homes, facilities, hospitals, parking areas, and outdoor environments.
- Reach, bend, kneel, and operate wheelchair securement equipment.
- Push, pull, position, and maneuver occupied wheelchairs, including combined occupant/equipment weights of approximately 300 pounds, on appropriate surfaces and approved ramps or inclines.
- Enter and exit different passenger vehicles throughout the workday.
- Work indoors and outdoors during changing weather conditions.
- NEMT experience.
- Professional passenger transportation or van-driving experience.
- Wheelchair-accessible vehicle experience.
- Experience working with elderly adults or people with disabilities.
- Caregiving, healthcare support, rehabilitation, hospitality, customer service, delivery, fitness, or similar service experience.
- CPR/First Aid, PASS, wheelchair securement, or passenger-assistance certification.
Prior NEMT experience is not required if the candidate demonstrates strong safety judgment, reliability, compassion, professionalism, and coachability.

Applicants must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position,
with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Safely transporting ambulatory and non-ambulatory clients in TLC vehicles.
- Providing approved door-through-door assistance from the pickup location through safe arrival at the destination.
- Assisting clients with wheelchairs, ramps, entrances, sidewalks, inclines, curbs, and other appropriate accessible routes.
- Pushing, positioning, maneuvering, and securing occupied wheelchairs.
- Assisting with approved mobility support and transfers within TLC training and safety limits.
- Participating in approved two-person assists when required.
- Properly securing wheelchairs, mobility equipment, and passenger restraints.
