As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Your work will help promote independence, inclusion, and a sense of community. Here’s what your day-to-day might include:

• Personal Care & ADL Support
  :
  Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, medications, and mobility, while preserving their independence and dignity.
• Companionship & Emotional Support
  :
  Provide meaningful companionship to reduce isolation, promote emotional well-being, and build trusting relationships.
• Community Outings & Integration
  :
  Support clients in participating in community activities, recreational outings, volunteering, and social engagement.
• Transportation Services
  :
  Ensure clients have safe, reliable transportation to community outing, volunteer work or social events.

We’re seeking compassionate, reliable individuals who are committed to making a difference. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed in this role:

• Experience:
  
  At least 1 year of experience in a caregiving or support role.
• Skills:
  
  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients.
• Attitude: A positive, empathetic approach with a genuine desire to help others thrive.

The Weekend Warrior position is designed for staff who are available and committed to working weekends only. This position provides an opportunity for staff to work a consistent weekend schedule while receiving an additional pay incentive for their weekend availability.
