Part-time Housekeeper: Jesuit Retreat Center

Part‑Time Housekeeper (Ministry of Hospitality) Jesuit Retreat Center – Parma, OH

Approximately 15 hours per week. This role is an important part of our ministry of hospitality — helping create a clean, welcoming, and restful environment for guests who come seeking reflection, renewal, and spiritual nourishment.

• Make beds and prepare guest rooms
• Vacuum rooms and hallways; sweep and mop floors
• Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment
• Clean windows, mirrors, and walls
• Clean and restock pantry and coffee stations
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; replenish supplies
• Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and properly
• Identify and report housekeeping needs
• Respond to occasional special requests

Typically 3 mornings per week (ideally Monday, Friday, plus occasional weekend day). Work independently with trust and responsibility. Clear, open communication and teamwork are valued.

• One to two years of related housekeeping or cleaning experience
• Reliable, attentive to detail, and self‑directed
• Comfortable working independently
