Overview

Amentum provides mission‑critical intelligence, counterintelligence, counter terrorism, digital forensics, and threat finance analysis across multi‑functional teams supporting a global mission. This role conducts research and analysis on foreign intelligence and technology protection‑related threats to the United States Army and the Department of Defense worldwide. The analyst assesses, interprets, forecasts, and explains a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature, and provides all‑source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.

Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Core hours between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

• Provide all‑source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
• Support CI investigations through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community.
• Conduct record checks, data research, and social networking analysis using intelligence and law enforcement databases and search engines.
• Produce in‑depth biographical intelligence research to aid investigations, support subject interviews, and facilitate case development.
• Utilize social networking tools, digital mapping programs, and OSINT and classified search capabilities to analyze threat intelligence.
• Analyze intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications using comprehensive knowledge of intelligence threat analysis, forecasting, and other analytical methodologies.
• Analyze terrorist and foreign intelligence entity (FIE) threats to U.S. Army forces, programs, and operations.
• Recommend innovative techniques and methods for threat analysis and protection.
• Research and analyze military, political, economic, technical, and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments.
• Identify intelligence gaps and assist in the development of intelligence collection programs.
• Advise team leaders and the chain of command on intelligence findings.
• Plan, coordinate, and synthesize research to prepare all‑source intelligence products and responses to RFIs.
• Ensure products meet Department of the Army, Department of Defense, and national‑level intelligence requirements.
• Brief intelligence assessments and positions to senior Battalion Army and civilian personnel.
• Develop recommendations for the development and maintenance of SOPs for assigned tasks.
• Conduct all tasks in support of operations under AR 381‑20.
• Assess information from IC‑wide reporting elements to de‑conflict information, evaluate reporting value, and contribute to collection architecture.
• Produce technical analysis white papers and presentations to support ongoing investigations and identify intelligence gaps and leads.
• Provide analytical updates to the Command Group on major investigations.
• Execute investigative trend analysis to guide government leadership in focusing investigative resources.
• Produce analytical information reports from reviews of investigative and IC database searches, law‑enforcement database searches, and insider‑threat reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or Master’s degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum 14 years of relevant experience (or Master’s + 12 years) with at least 6 years in one or more of the following areas:
  China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, threat finance, or cyber intelligence analysis.
• All‑source intelligence analyst experience as a civilian or military officer.
• Completion of the foundational Intelligence Analysis course (or military service equivalent).
• Proven track record of fusing multi‑disciplinary tools and databases for all‑source analysis production.
• Current Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Graduate of an in‑resident Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or military service equivalent.

$119,000 – $126,000 annually (good‑faith estimate). Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable laws.
