Shipping Clerk

• Base Pay $16.15 - $18.05 / Hour

Our Parma, Ohio branch of OSG USA, Inc. is one of the largest full-line domestic die manufacturers in the United States. We offer a wide range of products for the thread forming industry including flat, cylindrical, planetary, trimming, rack and segmented carbide dies. The company markets its products to numerous industries including automotive, die mold, aerospace, energy, heavy industry and dental.

We are seeking a Shipping Clerk I to join our growing team! In this role, you will ensure our customers receive our products on time, in proper condition and products are accurately marked and processed to show our branding to our valued customers.

• Obtain product from warehouse storage areas to fill orders for stock, non-stock, and special item orders and verify accuracy.
• Responsible for packing product/stock to proper storage locations.
• Create correct stencil and adhere to proper work instructions.
• Initiate proper packaging techniques and place care for outbound instructions.
• Create bill of lading, shipping documentation and operate metering station for outbound shipments.
• Assist with outbound freight forwarding, loading and packaging skids.
• Package orders for international shipments.
• Retrieve inbound packages and open safely.
• Locate and place incoming product shipments accurately and quickly.
• Properly place incoming products in correct location with accuracy and quickness.
• Process customer returns and differentiate products and packaging.
• Record inbound receipt data as needed.
• Create and label repackaged products for various reasons.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of general warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a necessity.
• Must be able to communicate using the English language.
• At least six months experience in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with using a forklift is preferred.
