Responsible for the hand assembly of parts into the electronic circuit board for conformance to established specifications.

• Demonstrate ability to properly assemble components into printed circuit boards
• Demonstrate proper technique for clinching and trimming leads
• Demonstrate proper material handling techniques to ensure component reliability and to avoid damaging components and boards
• Set‑up, verify, and use tools and equipment in area
• Operate and verify torque of torque wrenches
• Follow requirements for 1st piece inspections and in‑process audits
• Identify and segregate non‑conforming material
• Review shelf life of materials prior to usage (when applicable)
• Demonstrate proper handling precautions when working with process chemicals and materials
• Measure height requirements with appropriate measuring tools when required
• Identify work order, assembly number, and revision level of assembly from manufacturing instructions
• Correctly handle process deviation or ECO in the manufacturing instructions
• Work without assistance using manufacturing instructions with acceptable quality results
• Use the appropriate method to request changes, corrections or clarification to a manufacturing instruction
• Perform general area/equipment/machine cleaning
• Other duties may be assigned.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, maintain confidentiality, have good judgment, and demonstrate a pleasant professional image at all times. The team member is expected to exhibit high ethical standards and promote such standards within the company.

Light work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Constant walk, finger, grasp, feel 90‑100% of the time; frequently stoop, reach, push, lift, talk, hear and do repetitive motions 60‑90% of the time.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.

Required close visual acuity for operation of machines, visual inspection, use of measurement devices, and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.

The team member works indoors, protects from weather but not room temperature changes. There is sufficient noise to require speaking above ambient noise. Atmospheric conditions include odors 90‑100% of the time.

Safety is a core responsibility of this position. Team members are expected to perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established procedures. This includes wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), participating in safety training, immediately reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and stopping work when unsafe conditions exist. All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and for actively contributing to the prevention of workplace injuries and accidents.

This position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR.
