Position Profile

Supervises day‑to‑day operations and staff at Managed Services (MS) sites. Approximately 80% of time is spent on management duties and no more than 20% on operating production equipment. Responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing procedures, invoicing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining acceptable profit levels. This role requires a high degree of customer interaction and oversight of 15 to 20 employees or $80K in monthly services revenue at a single site.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Routinely demonstrates and promotes a helpful and positive work culture.

  • Effectively implements and manages RICOH Service Excellence.
  • Achieves shift profitability by supervising the appropriate use of company materials and supplies.
  • Manages production labor percentages to meet company standards for production and quality control labor.
  • Meets quality and deadline expectations through effective job scheduling.
  • Handles daily formal contact with the customer in MS and as needed in BDS/LDS.
  • Provides training on workflow and machine operations when necessary.
  • Ensures operational quality by meeting Audit and Deadline compliance goals.
  • Improves employee retention by meeting turnover and average tenure targets.
  • Maintains efficient workflow by holding direct reports accountable for quality and efficiency.
  • Improves operational consistency by implementing company standards and performance procedures.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing by matching employee skills and equipment with production demands.
  • Works with the sales department to resolve pricing, order‑in, and invoicing issues.
  • Motivates employees and recognizes accomplishments in a timely manner.
  • Communicates job expectations clearly and manages performance through training, cross‑training, coaching, counseling, directing, and evaluating work output and quality.
  • Completes site reports and other required documentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications)
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience delivering classroom and/or informal training sessions.
  • Experience operating advanced machines and performing complex production tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Ability to define and prioritize realistic goals.
  • Proficient PC skills with standard business software applications.
  • Ability to stay current on technology and marketplace trends through continuous learning.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands
  • Typical office environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and normal temperature and noise levels.
  • Work assignments are varied and may require interpreting, applying, and communicating complex information.
  • Some physical effort required, including periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Moderate dexterity required, including regular use of calculators, keyboards, hand tools, and fine motor coordination.
