Registered Nurse NEW GRAD Acute Care - ( 250002A3 ). 6 Medical is a busy 26 bed acute care telemetry unit serving adult patients and a large geriatric population. Common Diagnoses Include COPD, Pneumonia, Asthma/Bronchitis, Urinary Tract Infection, Chronic Renal Failure, Dehydration, Diabetes Mellitus, Cellulitis, Decubitus Ulcers, Wound Infections, Hospice Symptom Management and Gastrointestinal Problems.

Position Requirements
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
Licensure & CertificationAn Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Note:
Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.
BSN preferred
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
