Our unit cares for a diverse patient population from the local Parma community, treating a wide range of medical conditions including heart failure, sepsis, stroke, COPD exacerbations, and other complex acute care needs.
As the Assistant Nurse Manager
, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, age-specific patient care. This position partners closely with nursing leadership to support staff development, patient outcomes, operational excellence, and an exceptional patient and family experience.

To maintain the nursing staff in all areas as well as to deliver safe efficient age specific nursing care to patient/families.
What You Will Do
- Routinely provide patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintains employee records.
- Identifies needs for and provides Staff education/staff development.
- Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals, and education.
- Committee involvement, participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost-effective manner.
- Involved in Community outreach activities as pertinent Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers.
- Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
- Displays commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
