Overview

Lens Crafters, part of Essilor Luxottica, seeks a Licensed Optician for full‑time employment at store 000249. The role focuses on delivering exceptional vision care and customer service while supporting the brand’s standards of quality and innovation.

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and insert prescriptions into lenses with precision.
• Serve as a leader in optical acumen within the store.
• Take and record measurements; accurately adjust and fit eyewear, ensuring it meets standards and customer needs.
• Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Utilize technology efficiently under time pressure while maintaining exceptional product knowledge.
• Proactively identify root causes of issues and drive solutions to exceed customer expectations.
• Manage time, multitask, and prioritize competing tasks.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
• Report safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
• Show resourcefulness and self‑motivation, pursuing continual learning and improvement.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State licensure as a Licensed Optician.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Ability to use and carry a tablet or iPad.
• Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
• Openness to new technology and change.

• Previous customer service and retail experience.
