Accounting Clerk

This position is for a temporary role in the Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno, PC accounting department, with the potential to convert to a permanent full-time position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisor and accounting director within the department. This individual will track and research any accounting & billing issues that arise.

They will work closely with all internal departments of the Firm to aid in their client billing and other similar tasks.

• Utilize Tabs 3 software to run, print and distribute draft bills to attorneys.
• Update monthly pre-bill spreadsheet when distributing drafts to attorneys.
• Send reminders to attorneys regarding entering monthly time entries.
• Review revised pre-bill drafts and make any necessary edits or corrections.
• Run final bills for distribution to clients.
• Resolve attorney and client billing questions.
• Opening New Client Matters & Conflict Checks.
• Process client credit card payments through Law Pay.
• Research, track, and resolve accounting and billing problems
• Assist accounting personnel

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Exhibits a high level of accuracy
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping principles preferred
