We’re seeking a Senior Geotechnical Inspector to oversee construction activities in the field and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with engineering plans and codes. This role is highly hands‑on, working outdoors on active construction sites, inspecting foundations, soils, utilities, concrete, and sitework installations.

• Perform geotechnical and construction special inspections
• Observe deep foundations, soil compaction, utilities, rebar, and concrete work
• Conduct field testing and collect samples for lab analysis
• Document daily site activities and prepare reports
• Review plans and verify measurements, elevations, and materials
• Support environmental monitoring and sampling
• Mentor junior staff and ensure all safety protocols are followed

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering; 8–10+ years of related experience
• NY Professional Engineer (PE) required
• OSHA 40‑hr HAZWOPER
• Experience with foundations, soils, utilities, sitework, and field testing
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and lifting 50+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction documentation tools
