Project Engineers/Project Managers (B.S./M.S. Environmental Eng) $120-205K Parsippany, NJ (Hybrid) GEOTECHNICAL (All Levels - Staff / Project Engineer / Manager / Sr Project Manager)
Growing Consulting Engineering firm needs someone to oversee environmental projects including managing site investigations, evaluating surface conditions, planning and implementing engineering programs, developing and maintaining budgets and schedules, and coordinating project deliverables, design documents, bid packages, and proposals.
Responsibilities include overseeing concrete and rebar testing, applying geological knowledge to engineering problems in construction projects for dams, tunnels, and large buildings, and providing geological reports. Additional duties: preparing environmental reports, directing drilling of borings and wells, supervising collection of soil and groundwater samples to determine contamination levels, and supervising field work. A strong understanding of site, grading, utility, foundation, and structural drawings is required.
Position will require 10% (Project Managers)–25% (Project Engineers) travel in the tri‑state area to job sites.
Requirements: 3+ years’ experience in Project Engineering/Management/Construction for geotechnical projects.
