H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in ourGIS/Planning Division at our Parsippany, NJ office.
The Intern will be responsible for:
General administrative tasks
Assist with the development and maintenance of various forms of GIS data.
Assist in preparing Environmental Assessment Forms and Environmental Impact Statements Organize project files and compile reports containing multiples chapters and appendices.
Other duties as assigned.
Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Geography, Environmental Science/Studies, Geology, Urban Planning, Engineering, Political Science, or related discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Eagerness to learn.
Ability to work individually as well as in a team.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with
Esri’s suite of GIS products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online.
Program runs from June 7th – August 13thAbility to work on real life projects, go out into the field and build relationships with managers, co-workers and other interns
Participate in fun and exciting workshops like resume writing, interviewing skills, benefits 101, Presentation Skills, etc.

This internship may be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on business needs and candidate availability.
The hourly rate for this role is $19.25 to $27.00.
