About the role
We are seeking an Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Lead with 10 to 15 years of experience working on Oracle Platforms with a minimum of 3 years implementing Fusion Financials and have worked in the capacity of a finance solution architect in a customer-facing role for implementation projects.
In this role, you will:
- Lead design and execution of the complex programs across industry vertical customer Finance & Accounting processes, and securing buy-in from client stakeholders.
- Possess a good understanding of customer needs and how our solutions best bring value to them.
- Identify, collaborate influence key stakeholders – Client business & IT stakeholders, internal teams - to design of Industry point solutions to influence new business.
- Drive knowledge management in Finance domain sharing solutions, best practice across functional teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Oracle Financials Cloud solutions tailored to the transportation and logistics sector.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Oracle Cloud FIN modules ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Provide expert guidance on Oracle Cloud FIN
- Receivables Cash Management Payables Assets General Ledger and Expenses to optimize financial operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance user understanding and adoption of Oracle Financials Cloud functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.
- Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure successful integration of Oracle Financials Cloud with other enterprise systems.
- Lead testing efforts for new functionalities and system upgrades ensuring compliance with business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle Financials Cloud applications addressing user queries and system enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle Financials Cloud features and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative environment to facilitate knowledge sharing and innovation within the team.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies in all system implementations.
Work model:
Hybrid/Travel – Atlanta, GA or Parsippany, NJ
What you need to have to be considered- At least 10 to 15 years of experience on Oracle Platforms with a minimum of 3 years implementing Fusion Financials and have worked in the capacity of a finance solution architect in a customer-facing role for implementation projects.
- Must have at least 3 end to end implementations on Oracle Financials cloud along with understanding of Risk Management Cloud, procurement and Projects portfolio Management.
- Exposure in areas such as Revenue Management and Risk Management Cloud.
- Experience in constructing solutions for client proposals and having the ability to present the solutions to prospective client stakeholders.
- Worked as a consultant with both client onsite site and offshore delivery centers,
- Strong analytical, solution design, people management and client connecting skills.
- Experience in the various phases of the project implementation lifecycle and knowledge of software implementation methodology.
- Deep technology solution knowledge in Oracle Fusion Cloud with industry specialization in multiple industry verticals.
- Experience in delivering solution governance for multiple successful transformation programs in Oracle Cloud
- Expertise in Finance domain and along with knowledge in Supply chain processes and its larger orchestration from finance perspective.
- Ability to propose point functional solutions based on relevant technology tools that are available within Oracle eco system.
- Good architecture and system design knowledge to build highly scalable business solutions.
- Very strong communication skills - both written and oral.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and bring out new solutions.
