Position Overview:The ERP Logistics Analyst / Manager is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and managing enterprise logistics systems, with a primary focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). This role partners closely with business operations, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, transportation, and IT teams to ensure logistics processes are effectively enabled through ERP and related applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary IT/business systems partner for logistics functions, including warehouse operations, transportation planning, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, carrier integration, and order fulfillment.
- Manage and support WMS and TMS applications, including configuration, enhancements, issue resolution, testing, user support, and system upgrades.
- Analyze logistics business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, system configuration, process improvements, and technical change requests.
- Partner with warehouse, transportation, supply chain, finance, customer service, and external vendors to improve end-to-end logistics processes.
- Lead or support ERP logistics-related projects, including new site implementations, system integrations, process standardization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, coordinate resolution with internal IT teams and vendors, and communicate status to business stakeholders.
- Support integrations between ERP, WMS, TMS, EDI, carrier platforms, third-party logistics providers, and reporting tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, system configuration, test scripts, training materials, and support procedures.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, regression testing, training, and post-go-live support for logistics system changes.
- Monitor system performance, data accuracy, transaction flow, and process compliance to ensure reliable logistics operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience supporting ERP logistics processes, WMS, TMS, or related supply chain applications. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, order fulfillment, inventory movement, shipping, receiving, and distribution processes.
- Ability to gather business requirements, document process flows, develop functional specifications, and support system testing.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced operating environment.
- Ability to balance hands-on system support with strategic process improvement and project delivery responsibilities.
- Experience with major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience with WMS and TMS configuration, integrations, reporting, and operational support.
- Knowledge of EDI transactions, carrier interfaces, 3PL integrations, barcode/RF processes, shipping compliance, and logistics reporting.
- Experience managing projects, coordinating offshore or cross-regional teams, and supporting multi-site logistics operations.
- Familiarity with data analysis, dashboards, KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies.
