Position Summary
The Enterprise Systems Test Technician prepares, configures, tests, and troubleshoots enterprise server and storage systems in a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with the integration team to ensure systems meet quality, functionality, and performance standards prior to shipment.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude, enjoys diagnosing hardware and system issues, and is comfortable working with complex computing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
- Prepare and connect server and storage systems to designated test environments.
- Execute functional, performance, diagnostic, and burn-in testing using approved software and test procedures.
- Monitor test progress, review system logs, and verify systems meet established pass/fail criteria.
- Ensure all required testing is completed and documented prior to release.
- Investigate and diagnose hardware, software, networking, and configuration-related issues identified during testing.
- Isolate failed components and perform authorized replacements or corrective actions.
- Retest systems following repairs to verify successful resolution.
- Escalate complex technical issues to Engineering, Quality, or Product Support teams as needed.
- Record test results, repairs, and system information within manufacturing and inventory systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of failures, corrective actions, and retest outcomes.
- Verify systems meet customer, engineering, and quality requirements.
- Follow established manufacturing, quality, ESD, and safety procedures.
- Support the movement, staging, and preparation of systems throughout the testing process.
- Maintain an organized work area and contribute to efficient production flow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve testing efficiency and quality.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in hardware testing, electronics manufacturing, system integration, server support, networking, or a related technical field.
- Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and system-level issues.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including Ethernet connectivity and IP addressing.
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation, test procedures, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Experience testing enterprise servers, storage systems, networking equipment, or data center hardware.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Experience working with manufacturing test software, diagnostic tools, or production environments.
- Knowledge of SSDs, NVMe storage, PCIe devices, networking hardware, and related technologies.
- Experience working in an OEM, contract manufacturing, or high-volume production environment.
The base range for this position is $22.11 to $25.00; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
