Sales & Marketing Technology Architect; Life Sciences

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture, solution blueprints, and reference patterns for commercial and analytics platforms
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions (build vs buy) based on scalability, cost, security, and fit
• Design and govern integrations across CRM, marketing, and data platforms (API, event, batch)
• Support architecture for sales planning, forecasting, bid, and tender management solutions
• Define data models, semantic layers, and KPI frameworks for BI and reporting
• Review architecture artifacts (HLD/LLD, data models, integration specs, runbooks)
• Establish engineering standards (CI/CD, Dev Sec Ops , monitoring, data quality)
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to delivery teams

• 15+ years in Enterprise/Solution Architecture
• Strong Pharma Commercial experience (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, or Analytics)
• Expertise in integration architecture (APIs, ETL/batch, event-driven systems)
• Strong data modeling and BI experience (dimensional, semantic, dashboards)
• Experience evaluating enterprise platforms and defining architecture standards
• Understanding of sales planning, forecasting, bids, and tender processes
• Experience reviewing technical architecture and design artifacts
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in related field

• Experience with Salesforce, Veeva, or similar commercial platforms
• Cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Pharma data sources (IQVIA, Symphony) and commercial KPIs
• MDM and data governance experience
• Experience in regulated enterprise environments
