The Associate will handle a broad range of legal responsibilities, including conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, attending court hearings, preparing case files, and providing guidance to clients. Daily duties also encompass taking depositions, negotiating settlements, and working closely with senior attorneys on complex matters. The role may additionally require representing clients in various legal proceedings.
Medical Malpractice Defense experience Required.
Qualifications- Strong legal research and analytical abilities
- Experience drafting legal documents and court filings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in client advising and case management
- Negotiation and courtroom experience
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar
- Prior experience in a law firm environment is advantageous
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
